I went through four rounds for a senior software engineer role.

There was supposed to be a debrief afterward, but the HR person never showed up.

Between the rounds themselves, the sessions ran like a full process rather than a quick interview loop, and I stayed engaged expecting the usual wrap-up and next steps. When the debrief didn’t happen, it added a weird gap to the experience.

I didn’t get an offer, and my lingering reflection was that the closing moment mattered as much as the technical rounds—without it, the whole process felt unfinished.
