WatchGuard Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Easy

Positive

Jaipur, RajasthanPosted Jul 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

This round felt way too easy compared to what I expected.

The questions stayed basic, centered on core OOP and DBMS concepts, along with CN topics. There were also resume-based questions, plus some light math where I worked through things like plotting irrationals.

The coding portion included two tasks around arrays and patterns. The overall impression was that they weren’t aiming to test deep or tricky problem-solving under heavy pressure.

Because I’m describing an easy experience and still didn’t end up with an offer, what surprised me most was how low the difficulty felt even though the outcome wasn’t positive on my side.
