Walmart Software Engineer interview experience

RemoteCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

Before my Walmart interview, I reached out asking what to expect regarding a coding test for a software developer II role in Java.

Even though I wasn’t in the interview yet, the question itself reflected how much the language and format mattered to me, since it shaped how I’d prep and what I expected to be evaluated on.

The uncertainty around the coding test—especially how they planned to run it—was the main thing on my mind. It felt like getting clarity on whether it would truly be Java-centered and what they meant by the test format would decide how I approached the day.
