My first round ran through a third-party Karat assessment.

The interview started with six general knowledge questions where I had to pick a category, and then the rest of the time shifted into LeetCode-style coding questions.

During the coding portion, I had to explain my approach before writing the code, then implement the solution, and finally test it while talking through time and space complexity. It was a pretty structured flow, and the round felt designed to evaluate both thinking and execution rather than just getting the final answer.
