VMware Software Engineer interview experience

I did a phone call, an online interview, and four onsite interviews back to back, and the total process took about two months. The difficulty was described as very easy, mainly because they still ran interviews even after interviewers may have already formed views from the CV.

The hiring managers seemed to want more chances to evaluate a wider set of people rather than filtering immediately. I didn’t get an offer, but the experience taught me that their pipeline was designed to gather enough information across many candidates, not just validate the first impression.
