I experienced a friendly, interviewers-on-your-side style process that started from my resume and gave time to explore my experience and ask questions.

Intro + projects discussion — started with my introduction, then moved into a discussion of my projects and overall experience.
On-site interview — a sit-down interview that worked through past experience from the CV, with time reserved for my questions. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that good communication and being prepared to go deep on your own projects mattered most.
