I interviewed through recruiter screening, then CodeSignal, followed by multiple coding rounds and system design; the process also signaled they were specifically looking for Java engineers.

Recruiter screen — I discussed my background and fit.
CodeSignal assessment — I completed an OA-style test and succeeded enough to continue.
Coding rounds (Java-focused) — I answered coding questions in JavaScript, but it was clear the role expected Java proficiency.
System design — I completed a system design interview after coding.
Outcome: No offer—language expectations (Java) were a notable issue.
