Foster City, CAPosted Jun 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced an average-to-difficult process for a Software Engineer role that mixed structured technical rounds with an element of team fit, then role fit tested at the “core” level.

Phone screen / recruiter — I talked through my background and what I wanted in the role.
Online assessment (OA/codesignal) — I completed a CodeSignal-style assessment with multiple questions in an easy-to-medium range.
Technical interviews (DSA + app dev / role knowledge) — I had multiple technical interviews: one DSA-focused (LeetCode-style, easier to medium) and another application-development style round (building a basic app in their stack).
Team matching / additional technical — I went through a team-matching step with interviews across different teams to align me
