I ran into a difficult, proctored Codesignal OA setup that felt like a strong screening gate before any deeper evaluation.

Proctored OA (Codesignal) — four questions with a tight time window (around 70–75 minutes), timed with camera/mic monitoring; the mix included easy, medium, and difficult problems.
No early human interaction (pre-screen first) — I spent the initial stage doing the assessment under strict conditions, making it harder to perform if I couldn’t code smoothly while watched. Outcome: I didn’t advance, and the takeaway is to practice the exact proctored format until it feels automatic.
