I interviewed for Software Engineer with a generally average-to-manageable flow centered on a HackerRank OA, followed by technical interviewing where my results depended heavily on how I handled the mid-level question(s).

OA (HackerRank; proctored, limited time) — one version gave me a week to complete three LeetCode-style problems (easy/fundamentals plus one medium); another used a custom set with unclear specifics, mixing two easy questions and one intermediate.
Follow-on interviews (team/interview selection stage) — after OA, I saw follow-up rounds that could include added technical topics beyond pure LeetCode (e.g., Linux/IaC). Outcome: I didn’t end up with an offer; the takeaway is that the OA structure (especially the intermediate question) strongly influenced whether I advanced.
