I experienced an end-to-end DSA + system design process where everything felt eliminatory, with heavy follow-up on design concepts.

OA / coding round (DSA) — HackerRank-style LeetCode questions, including medium problems where the tight parts were the time constraints on later test cases.
Technical interview(s) — More LeetCode-style problem-solving plus deeper DSA/LLD/HLD discussion.
Hiring manager round: system design + behavioral — I was grilled on system design ideas like scaling, fault tolerance, and related trade-offs, alongside behavioral/resume conversation. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that design/system concepts and explanations mattered as much as solving the code.
