I interviewed for an SWE role with three rounds plus HR and ended up accepting an offer, with a positive experience throughout.

Technical round 1 — discussed past projects and experiences with a couple of behavioral elements.
Technical round 2 — more hands-on questions tied to my experience and SWE basics.
Behavioral rounds (2) — focused on how I work with others and explain my reasoning from past situations.
HR round — final conversation to align on expectations. Outcome: I accepted the offer; the takeaway was that kindness and clear communication made it easier to perform well.
