I interviewed for the Software Engineer role and found the process difficult, with a strong emphasis on role fit and growth potential rather than only surface-level coding.

Technical + role-fit rounds (subject-oriented) — I was tested on practical, core knowledge tied directly to the job, and the interviewer pushed to see whether I fit the organization’s expectations.
Deeper evaluation of mindset — Questions focused on how I approach learning and my growth prospects, to gauge long-term trajectory. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the key takeaway was that the bar leaned heavily on matching the role’s fundamentals and growth story.
