Verkada Account Executive interview experience

The conversations felt like they were progressing normally until the end, when they reached out to tell me they thought I’d be better for a different role.

They then passed me onto a different recruiter, which was a bit frustrating because it meant I wasn’t being evaluated for exactly what I originally applied for. By the time it came to an actual decision on my side, I chose to accept an offer elsewhere.

I didn’t receive an offer from Verkada. My honest reflection was that the process itself wasn’t hostile, but the pivot to a worse role I hadn’t targeted made it hard to stay optimistic.
