The interview involved multiple engineers, and it felt like it covered many angles of knowledge—both conceptual questions and coding.

Some topics felt like they wouldn’t apply to every day of the job, but they still probed them to see how I handled breadth.

The total interview time was about an hour and a half, and I remember the focus spanning both front-end and back-end knowledge, which made the session demanding even when each individual topic wasn’t extremely deep.

I didn’t receive an offer. My reflection was that the breadth was the challenge: staying coherent while hopping between different aspects of the stack was hard, and I felt the interview was testing adaptability more than specialization.
