San Francisco, CAPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with scheduling that immediately felt unreliable.

The recruiter didn’t show up to the interview multiple times in a row after rescheduling, and after the third missed session there wasn’t any real follow-up. The experience made it clear I shouldn’t count on them to run the steps as planned.

When I tried again at a later time with another path, the overall flow was still fairly typical for a big-company process—an intro with recruiting, then a hiring manager conversation, then algorithm live coding, concurrency live coding, and finally system design. It took about two to three weeks and I reached the fourth stage before not passing it.
