Valeo Software Engineer interview experience

The interview itself was based on my resume, and they emphasized that embedded C would be important for the role, so the technical discussion expected me to be thorough in C programming.

It was organized as three rounds: two technical interviews and one HR round. Even though the structure was standard, the embedded-C focus made the technical content feel specific.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the way they anchored the questions to the role’s day-to-day work made it feel grounded. My overall impression was that the process was fair, with a clear idea of what competency looked like.
