My first step was paperwork-heavy.

I had to complete an online form with my details and a short summary of my experience, including some information about my college ranking. After that, I was sent an acceptance letter that said I only needed to pass an online test.

But then the process didn’t match that promise—after I went through the college-related step, it turned out there was an online test I didn’t end up passing. The whole thing felt like a setup that ended earlier than I wanted, even though the communication initially sounded straightforward.
