I had a single technical interview that ended up feeling unusually harsh and rushed.

It was a 30-minute call focused on backend development, cloud, and general programming. I answered some parts fully and other parts only partially.

When the interviewer asked if I had questions, I asked something basic about the tech stack and DevOps responsibilities. Instead of engaging with it, I got a dismissive response telling me to ask HR, and the way it was handled felt rude and out of place.

Within about five minutes, I received a rejection email. The technical content wasn’t the only issue—how quickly and disrespectfully it ended made the whole thing feel poorly managed.
