UST Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Medium

Positive

IndiaPosted Aug 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed and the experience felt medium difficulty, but what dragged on wasn’t the interview itself—it was what happened afterward.

I received a letter of intent, which made me think the process was essentially concluding, yet I never got the actual offer letter. Months passed and I was still waiting.

Nothing about the interview journey was dramatically rough in the moment; it was just that the follow-through didn’t match the expectation created by the letter of intent. I didn’t end up with an offer letter, and the biggest reflection I had was that even when the evaluation seems positive, the final steps can take a surprisingly long time.
