After a recruiter reached out, I moved into a pretty lightweight setup.

About a day after my internship, I got a timed coding assessment that felt more like an assignment than an interview—just a short, 30-minute set of three questions, no live interviewer. A little later, I had a second interview that mixed behavioral and technical questions.

The behavioral part was fairly standard: I introduced myself, explained why I wanted to work there, and talked through a conflict I’d had with a peer during a project and how I handled it. The technical portion was also approachable: two coding questions where I had to actually write code and explain my thinking as I went.
