US Navy Software Engineer interview experience

I walked in as myself and was basically treated like a behavioral conversation more than anything technical. The interview format felt laid back and simple, and it ran for about 30 minutes.

I ended up leaving with an offer quickly after that short conversation. The whole experience didn’t feel like a drawn-out, multi-step engineering evaluation—more like a straightforward screen tied closely to what I’d already shared. I remember thinking it was surprisingly direct, and when the offer came through, it was hard not to feel like I’d already covered everything they needed.
