After a recruiter call that felt overly polished, I was brought into an onsite panel with several leads and managers.

The in-person discussion was straightforward in structure, but I left with the sense that everything was being framed to sell me on the role rather than to surface any real issues.

A follow-up came shortly after, and I was invited again for another round that included a presentation. From start to finish, the process moved quickly—within a couple of weeks the recruiter reached back out with an offer. I didn’t share my concerns at the time, but looking back, the conversation I had throughout the process didn’t match what I later expected, and the lack of transparency really stood out to me.
