Santa Barbara, CAPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for an Account Executive role at Urban Outfitters and found the process mostly laid-back, usually happening quickly over the course of a day or within a couple of weeks.

Store/group interview (in-person) — I joined a laid-back group discussion on the shop floor or in-store, answering questions one at a time or letting each person take a turn; topics were my personal style, fashion interests, customer interaction approach, retail/customer service experience, and availability.
Follow-up group + manager conversation — In some versions, I did another short group conversation with a manager where they kept things surface-level and looked for authenticity and confidence.
Video pre-screen + in-person — A few times the journey started with a video
