I went through an interview process where I was selected by the company, but I didn’t join because I had another offer.

The process itself had a technical round first, followed by an HR round.

I ended up getting through, so the technical part must’ve gone well enough for them to move me forward, and the HR round didn’t derail it either. Even with that, I chose not to proceed.

So there was no final rejection feeling for me—more a timing situation. The experience left me with the impression that they were ready to move forward, but I ultimately couldn’t commit.
