Philadelphia, PAPosted Jul 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a very straightforward interview with my potential supervisor in person.

We briefly discussed my resume and skill set and talked about my expectations for the role. He shared more about what his research focused on and how I could contribute to his work.

There wasn’t a complicated sequence—just a direct conversation that stayed centered on fit. What surprised me was that the offer came at the end of the interview.

Overall it felt easy because the interaction was clear and focused. I didn’t feel like I had to guess what mattered; the supervisor explained the work and we matched my background to it, and then they decided quickly.
