My interview started with a phone call, and two women led the conversation.

The questions mostly centered on the experience I had that related directly to the research analyst role, but they also asked a handful of personality-based questions. Overall it felt like a fit-and-background screen, not a technical deep dive.

After that call, I didn’t move forward. I was told I wouldn’t get an offer for a second round interview because I hadn’t worked with the specific population they described. That outcome left me feeling like the role was less about general research ability and more about having the exact kind of prior exposure they were targeting.
