University of Pennsylvania Research Analyst interview experience

I went through four rounds total: a phone screen, a behavioral-focused conversation, then a code test in R paired with a case study, and finally the remaining decision steps.

The progression felt systematic—first fit and communication, then a move toward actual applied work through the R code test and the case study component. The timing stretched longer than I expected, with the decision not coming quickly after the first conversations.

I didn’t get an offer. Even so, it felt less like a single stumbling block and more like a long evaluation where every round built on the last.
