I had a friend refer me, and that referral made the whole start feel more direct.

After I sent my resume, I received a phone interview from the PI.

The next day I met with him in person, and I ended up getting the offer within a week. The interview journey wasn’t stretched out or complicated—what mattered was how quickly they moved from initial screening to a decision. The speed itself was the standout feature for me, and I remember walking away feeling like they already had a clear picture of what they wanted.
