University of Illinois Chicago Research Analyst interview experience

I kept emailing to lock in a time for the phone screen, but the messages kept landing in spam, so it took forever to actually get the interview scheduled.

Once the call finally happened, it was relatively simple and mostly basic questions. It didn’t feel like a grilling or a long back-and-forth—more like an initial check that my background matched what they were looking for. I got the offer a few days after the phone interview, which made the whole thing feel even easier in hindsight. Overall, the biggest hurdle was just getting the scheduling to stick.
