I applied and the turnaround was extremely quick—so quick it almost felt like the process was more of an agreement than a formal interview cycle.

In my experience, I applied in-person and the whole thing took about a day.

The key moments were a verbal offer and then a discussion with the professor to align on the role. After that, I handled the paperwork by responding to the letter and signing the contract to make it official.

Because everything moved so fast, there wasn’t much uncertainty on my end. I accepted the position and felt confident once the professor had verbally offered it—looking back, the short timeline made the whole experience feel uncomplicated and efficient.
