Athens, GAPosted Aug 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience started with a quick introductory interview that happened just a few days after I applied.

It was meant for work-study students, so it didn’t come with the tension I expected; the researcher made an effort to keep things comfortable by asking questions that were directly relevant to me. After that, I was able to come into the lab and get a better sense of how the place worked.

The questions weren’t framed like a formal technical test. It was more about getting to know what I was interested in and what the lab environment looked like day to day. I walked out feeling like I had clarity on the direction of the lab and what the working experience would actually be like.
