University of Georgia Research Analyst interview experience

Got offer

United StatesPosted May 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

For this role, the process was straightforward and centered on a single conversation with a professor.

I spoke with the professor directly about the research assistantship, and that was essentially what the hiring process looked like.

During the discussion, it was clear they were focused on my background and interest in the work, rather than running a long sequence of assessments. After that professor conversation, the process moved quickly toward a decision.

I ended up receiving the offer, and overall it felt simple and transparent—less like an ordeal and more like confirming that I was a good match for the lab and could handle the expectations once training started.
