I only had one stage to go through.

After being shortlisted, I was invited to give a PowerPoint discussion about my previous research experience, and then I was asked questions that tied back to general data analysis principles. The conversation also touched on SOPs and the bigger research culture at the institution, rather than jumping straight into highly specific technical deep-dives. It felt straightforward overall, and the whole thing stayed fairly contained to that single presentation-and-Q&A format.
