After a few weeks of waiting, I had a phone screen first, then I moved into two separate engineering interviews.

Overall it stretched out across a couple of months, and it felt like the process was mostly about checking how I thought and talked rather than a single high-stakes technical gauntlet.

Once the recruiter call was done, I met engineers in two additional rounds. Those conversations were standard interview-style discussions and didn’t come with the sense that they were trying to corner me with obscure topics. By the end of the third round, it was pretty clear the interviewers were trying to gauge fit and communication, since the journey stayed consistent across the engineering sessions.
