I started this process after meeting an engineer at a job fair and getting reached out by a recruiter.

They sent me behavioral questions first, which then led to the interview.

The interview was a panel with four engineers. I was told I’d get a response within about two months, and then I waited. Around the second month, I followed up to ask if there were any updates. I received nothing back and it ended up feeling like I was ghosted.

I didn’t get an offer, and that lack of closure was what really bothered me. I understood delays can happen, but being promised a response and then hearing nothing made the whole process feel inconsiderate.
