The screening round felt solid and connected to what I had studied recently.

The questions came from the previous semester’s syllabus, including topics like DBMS, OS, and CNS. They also asked about the projects I had mentioned on my resume.

What stood out was that it felt important to only bring up skills and projects I was actually comfortable with. The flow didn’t leave much room for vague answers—my explanations had to match what the questions were reaching for. Overall it was an evaluation based on alignment between my resume and the underlying course concepts.
