I got my interview through an on-campus career fair and it happened the next day.

I went through this twice, two years in a row, which made the lack of closure really noticeable. The questions were fairly basic and they also provided some general information, but after the conversation I never heard back from them.

Even though I understood I might not have been a great fit, it felt unprofessional to keep things open-ended without a proper rejection. The most memorable part of the whole process wasn’t the questions—it was the silence afterward.
