I went through an initial round at an interview center and got selected to move forward.

The next day, I had a technical round and an HR round.

Even though I felt confident because I had answered everything they asked in the technical part, they didn’t select me. The reason they gave felt unfair and “silly” to me, and the phrasing in my memory is that it wasn’t just me—many people ended up not moving ahead after similar discussions.

That made the day-to-day flow feel like a bit of a letdown: the process wasn’t complicated, but the rejection didn’t match how the technical conversation went for me.
