UKG Software Engineer interview experience

Medium

Positive

Weston, FLPosted Apr 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a positive experience overall—the interviewers were pleasant and created a comfortable atmosphere.

The loop focused on thoughtful questions around the software development lifecycle and testing practices, and it didn’t feel like they were trying to catch me off guard.

There were hands-on programming and refactoring exercises too, which gave me a chance to show how I approached problem-solving and how I’d improve code structure while staying within the constraints. I didn’t receive an offer, but it was one of the more constructive interview processes I had because it felt like a real evaluation of how I build and reason about software.
