UKG Software Engineer interview experience

Toronto, ONPosted Jun 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a single LeetCode-style medium question as the core technical part.

The interviewers were really friendly, and they didn’t just sit back and watch—they helped me work toward the solution with hints.

What mattered to me was that they cared about the tech stack I used, not only about whether I could produce working code. The interview felt like a collaborative problem-solving session rather than a strict evaluation of memorized answers. The difficulty was described as average, and even though I didn’t receive an offer, the experience felt constructive because of the guidance and the discussion around my approach.
