My journey started with questions grounded in my lab background, the job description, and my education.

I remember the interviewers as polite and supportive, which helped the conversation stay focused on my experience rather than feeling like an interrogation.

The process then unfolded across several formats: first there was a one-sided video recording pre-screen, then an online interview on Teams, followed by a call that led into a face-to-face discussion and a lab tour. Even with all the moving parts, it felt coherent because so much of the questioning stayed tied to what I’d done and what I’d studied.
