Slough, Berkshire, South East England, EnglandPosted Nov 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I reached out by emailing my CV and cover letter, and I was invited to an interview.

When I got there, I started by giving a brief overview of my PhD, and then the discussion shifted into questions about my background.

After that, I was shown around the lab. Everyone I met during the visit came across as friendly, which made the process feel more welcoming than intimidating. Overall it left me with the impression the site was a good fit, even though I didn’t end up with an offer.
