From the beginning, the tone of the questioning felt aggressive.

The very first question landed in a way that seemed designed to put me on edge, and I noticed myself hesitating because I wasn’t sure what they wanted from my response.

As the round went on, the technical questions felt rushed, and whenever I tried to explain my reasoning, I was cut off rather than engaged. The overall vibe made it hard to demonstrate how I was thinking, and it felt like the conversation wasn’t truly about understanding my rationale—more about shutting it down. That style seriously affected how I experienced the process.
