Ubisoft Software Engineer interview experience

Montreal, QCPosted Nov 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an extensive interview process that involved coding questions and also discussions with managers.

Beyond that, I didn’t have much more detail to add, because the overall impression was just that it was heavy and demanding.

Difficulty-wise, it landed as difficult for me. The process itself didn’t feel like a quick screening; it felt like a deeper evaluation with multiple stakeholders. I didn’t receive an offer, and the main takeaway I had was that it took a lot out of me without any clear payoff.
