Ubisoft Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Medium

Negative

MilanPosted May 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The questions were about game programming and felt average difficulty, but the overall vibe rubbed me the wrong way.

I felt like the interview had a tone where it was framed as if I should feel honored to be there, and that made it feel like the company expected compliance more than collaboration.

HR also told me I’d get an answer after the interview even if it was negative, but I never received anything afterward. I didn’t get an offer, and honestly the lack of follow-up was what made the experience feel especially disrespectful to my time.
