Ubisoft Software Engineer interview experience

I was asked to do a Codility test where I had to solve what they described as a LeetCode-hard-style problem in 90 minutes.

I ran into real friction because I wasn’t familiar with the Codility platform, and when I self-tested my solution it kept showing TLE, even though I felt like my approach was correct.

After the timer ended, I submitted my code to LeetCode and it passed all the examples there. I tried to explain the situation by email, but I didn’t get any reply. It was a difficult experience overall, not because the problem itself was impossible, but because the testing environment and the lack of response made everything feel unfair. I didn’t move forward after that.
