Uber Software Engineer interview experience

The online assessment portion was 3–4 questions total, and I had two hours to complete it. After that, I went into two technical rounds—before those, there were a few behavioral questions.

In my technical rounds, I ended up getting one LeetCode hard problem and one LeetCode medium. The difficulty level was the thing I kept noticing: it wasn’t just about passing test cases, it was about demonstrating the right complexity thinking and sticking to a clear approach under time constraints.

I didn’t get an offer. The process felt like it filtered hard on algorithm fundamentals and performance,
