Uber Software Engineer interview experience

For a senior role, my Uber process actually felt surprisingly straightforward.

I started with a technical screen where I was asked to design an Uber Eats cart service. It initially caught me off guard, but then I realized I’d practiced a nearly identical mock on PracHub, and that helped me regain my footing quickly.

After the technical screen, the process continued to a final round that included behavioral questions. Even though I received an offer, I ultimately decided to decline it.

Overall it was a positive experience, and the biggest surprise was how smoothly it ran given how different the design topic felt at first.
