Uber’s Software Engineer process, as I experienced it, stretched out to roughly four to six weeks and followed a pretty classic funnel.

It started with a recruiter screen focused on my experience, motivation, and role fit. After that, I hit an online coding assessment or a live coding screen with one or two algorithm problems that tested both correctness and efficiency, and I had to be clear in how I communicated while solving.
